Most digital cameras let you control shutter speed and aperture in 1 3 1 2 and full stop increments.
Canon 6d shutter speed increments.
1 4000 to 30 sec x sync at 1 180 sec.
On if you turn bracketing on the setting will not be permanent it will turn itself off when you turn off the camera.
If set to iso this lets the 6d change a manually set iso if needed to get a correct exposure in any of the auto exposure modes.
As indicated below the iso speed will be set automatically to suit the shooting mode.

25600 in 1 3 stop increments.
At the minimum for 24 25 30 fps or 1 60 sec.
For example 125 indicates 1 125 sec also 0 5 indicates 0 5 sec and 15 is 15 sec if you see a after the number then interpret the value to be read as a function of seconds.

I set this to shutter speed aperture which lets my 6d change my selected aperture or shutter speed if needed to get a good exposure in the av or tv mode.
Or higher for 50 60 fps depending on the frame rate.
If the iso speed is set to a auto the actual iso speed to be set will be displayed when you press the shutter button halfway.
I prefer 1 3 increments.

Most cameras come with 1 3rd stop increments as the default setting and a very large number of photographers never stray from it.
